Accident  On Friday, 9th June, 2006 I was involved in an accident.  When overhauling 2 trucks I had to interrupt this action  because of a cross coming truck. I slowed down and  tried to get in between of the 2 trucks, the gap offering  enough space. Unfortunately another biker following  closely was not able to react according to the  developping situation. He touched my bike at the  backside that it fell down and started sliding on the left  lane towards the cross coming truck. As my bike, being  heavier, was faster than I it went away from me.  My bike crashed into the truck but I was far enough  away that I came to standstill in front of the truck which  was at full stop.  Result: I have come out without major injuries; the bike  has been fully destroyed.  Conclusion: Without a good protection suit I had not  been able to come out of this accident without much  heavier injuries.
