My very first experience on 2  wheels did I have at an age of about  15 when I took the Lambretta  scooter of my father - at those  times the vehicle for the whole  family.  One tour then stopped  fairly abruptly, when I slided in a  water flake and crashed against a  telephone pole. The damage was  limited to the metal sheet but it was  worth a box on the ear from my  father.
